(Jazz, world music and a mix of both classical and non-classical music)

Directed by cellist Cameron Sawzin

We will rehearse at Lexington music school Mondays. We are looking at an early evening time slot, 5:15-6:15 or 6:15-7:15. The start time will be finalized after reviewing feedback from participants. The tuition will be $20/session, payable at the beginning of each month.

The Andover cello band was a huge success this past summer with a well- attended performance at the Marland Atria.  The “band members” got to help design arrangements of “Caroline” by Mer Boel, as well as Cameron’s “Oily Weasel Blues”. The big band also performed a fabulous European arrangement of Duke Ellington’s “Pigeons and Peppers and the cellists played some red-hot improv. solos as well.
